AutoFixConnect is a service product of Stewardplus Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how Stewardplus Inc., as the entity responsible for the Service (referred to in this Policy as "AutoFixConnect," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the Service. This Policy is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
Stewardplus Inc. is based in Manitoba, Canada, and our primary privacy obligations are governed by Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") and applicable provincial legislation. Because the Service is offered globally, this Policy also addresses additional rights that apply to users in other regions, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"). Where a region-specific right below differs from the general provisions, the region-specific right applies to users in that region.
If Stewardplus Inc. operates other service products under other brands, this Policy applies to the personal information we collect through AutoFixConnect. Where we link your AutoFixConnect account to an account you hold with another Stewardplus Inc. product, or otherwise combine data across Stewardplus products, we will disclose that combination and its purpose at the time it occurs, consistent with Section 4 below.

1.3Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from Service Providers, payment processors, identity-verification providers, analytics providers, and publicly available sources, which we may combine with information we collect directly.
2.How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Connect you with Service Providers and facilitate scheduling, quotes/estimates, dispatch, and payments across all Marketplace Service categories (mechanical repair, auto body, detailing, parts sales, towing, and moving);
- Process transactions and send related confirmations;
- Communicate with you, including sending service, administrative, and (with your consent, where required) marketing communications;
- Personalize content and recommendations;
- Monitor and analyze usage trends and improve the security and performance of the Service;

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3.Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the EEA or UK, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you (e.g., to connect you with a Service Provider); our legitimate interests (e.g., improving and securing the Service), provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; compliance with a legal obligation; and, where required, your consent (e.g., for certain cookies or marketing communications), which you may withdraw at any time.
6.Automated Decision-Making
We may use automated tools, for example, to rank or match available Service Providers to your request based on factors such as proximity, availability, and ratings, or to screen for potentially fraudulent activity. These tools support, but generally do not replace, human review of significant decisions. Where automated processing produces a legal or similarly significant effect concerning you and applicable law grants you a right to obtain human review, contest the decision, or receive an explanation, you may exercise that right by contacting us as described in Section 14.
7.Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure, and we require Service Providers with access to your information through the Service to protect it appropriately.
If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards affecting your personal information that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the applicable regulator(s) as required by PIPEDA and other applicable law.
8.Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal retention policies and applicable law.
9.Your Rights and Choices
9.1All Users
To exercise any of the rights below, contact us at privacy@autofixconnect.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
9.2Canada (PIPEDA)
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to withdraw consent to certain processing, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact our Privacy Officer (Section 14) and, if still unresolved, file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9.3European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing, including profiling; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
9.4United States (State Privacy Laws, including CCPA)
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising ("sharing"); and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
9.5Other Jurisdictions
If you are located elsewhere, we will honor applicable rights under the data-protection law of your jurisdiction upon request, to the extent required.
10.International Data Transfers
AutoFixConnect is based in Manitoba, Canada, and your information is primarily stored and processed in Canada. Depending on the Service Providers and vendors involved in a given transaction (for example, a cross-border move, an international parts order, or a cloud-hosting or payment-processing vendor located elsewhere), your information may also be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction. Where required (for example, for transfers out of the EEA or UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognized transfer mechanism.
11.Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has provided us with information may contact us at the address below.
12.Third-Party Links and Integrations
The Service may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, applications, or services (including Service Providers' own systems and payment processors) that are not owned or controlled by AutoFixConnect. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you as required by applicable law, for example by posting the updated Policy with a new "Last Updated" date or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
